When you need more detailed information about your Google Analytics uploads, such as whether your data was successfully uploaded, navigate to 'Google Analytics Upload' in the left side navigation bar.


At the top right corner of each 'Google Analytics Property' you have configured for uploading, there is a "Details" button that opens up a modal window with more info about the uploaded property.

The 'File upload details' window displays information about the individual, quarterly, files uploaded to Google Analytics.
You can see when the file was last uploaded, as well as any errors encountered during processing.

Downloading quarterly files

It is also possible to download the latest version of these files if you want to examine their contents.

Data refreshing

  • When account configuration has changed (e.g. custom dimensions or metrics, new data sources) all data is uploaded.

  • When the Google Analytics upload configuration has been changed, all data is uploaded.

  • Otherwise, Funnel only sends data that has changed to Google Analytics, so if data has changed in Q1 2022, the export will start from Q1 2022.

Status

Green checkmarks for all three events (created, uploaded, processed) indicate that Funnel has not encountered any errors during the creation and uploading of data to Google Analytics.

Data mismatches?

When the data you're seeing in Google Analytics is different from what's in the uploaded file, it is usually due to Google Analytics needing some additional time before it displays the most recently uploaded data.
