This article is only relevant if you have Search Ads 360 sources that were connected before March 2019.
You can see if you have any affected sources by checking the source description and seeing if the word Legacy is there.
Changes
The keyword and ad group reports in the legacy connector worked by merging several reports into one (keyword, campaign and ad group). This caused several technical issues and made it difficult to confirm that the numbers in Funnel matched the numbers in Search Ads 360.
The difference between the legacy connector and the new connector is that the keyword and ad group reports in the new connector only contain keyword and ad group data respectively. This reflects the same data you see in the Search Ads 360 interface.
The new connector also supports new fields and options. You can read more about them here.
Required Actions
To upgrade your sources to the new connector you simply need to connect new sources for all your legacy sources.
Legacy source connected on keyword level
If you wish to upgrade a legacy source connected to a keyword report, and make sure that the data that is fetched looks identical to the legacy source, you will have to connect 3 sources with 3 different report types (keyword, campaign and ad group).
Legacy source connected on an ad group level
If you wish to upgrade a legacy source connected to an ad group report, and make sure that the data that is fetched looks identical to the legacy source, you will have to connect 2 sources with 2 different report types (campaign and ad group).
Legacy source connected on an campaign level
If you wish to upgrade a legacy source connected to a campaign report you will only have to connect a new source on campaign level.
WATCH OUT!
The current default in Funnel is to always aggregate data for all sources, unless explicitly told not to do so. This means you will get duplicate numbers if you connect the same source twice to the same Funnel Account. Read more on why and how to avoid issues by reading more here
