Our YouTube connector uses YouTube’s targeted queries channel reports. This means that in order to get performance data for a channel’s videos, you need to connect to Youtube using a channel that has uploaded videos.

When connecting a YouTube channel you can choose between four different report types: Time-Based, User Geography, Device Type and Operating System or Traffic Sources. These correspond to YouTube’s own targeted query channel reports, but also contain some additional metadata about the connected channel and its videos. Read more about which metrics and dimensions the reports contain here.

In the User Geography and Traffic Sources reports YouTube might limit data for some metrics. This means that the report might not contain all data for a metric if it does not meet a certain threshold. More information on this can be found here: https://developers.google.com/youtube/analytics/data_model#data-anonymization.
