On the 30th of June, 2021, Pinterest will remove all previous multi-user access. Any user who is not the owner of an ad account or who has not been given access via Business Access will be unable to access ad accounts previously accessible to them and Funnel will be unable to fetch data from these ad accounts.

What do I need to do?

If you have connected a Pinterest data source with the credentials of the owner of the ad account, you don't need to do anything. You will keep getting data to your Funnel account.

If you have connected a Pinterest data source with the credentials of a user that has been invited to the ad account, you need to migrate the user to the new Business Access in Pinterest.

Data sources in Funnel that has not been migrated will still be available in Funnel and you will be able to see historical data, but no new data will be fetched.

How do I get access?

If you are not the owner, you will need to ask the owner of the the Pinterest Business Account to invite you to the ad account using the new Business Access. The owner can set you up as an employee or a partner. Read more about how to set up Business Access here.

What if I work at an agency?

If you are an agency you need to make sure that your clients have migrated to Business Access and added you as a partner.

Pinterest provides more information here on how to get access to a Pinterest ad account.

What will happen to my Pinterest data sources?

Without appropriate access, your data sources will stop stop downloading data in Funnel and you will see an error in your data source page indicating invalid credentials.
