If you would like to access your Funnel data in a Snowflake data warehouse, you can do so by setting up a new Snowflake Share. This will expose your chosen Funnel data as a "Secure Data Share" in the Snowflake account you provided.

Setup a Share in your Funnel account

1. Go to the Data Warehouse page and click Create Data Share

2. Choose Snowflake as your destination

3. Provide your Snowflake Account Identifier

You can find your Snowflake Account Identifier in the snowflake UI.

Snowflake Insights UI

Snowflake classic console UI

4. Provide your Snowflake Cloud and Region

From the same area as you copied your account Identifier you can see your Cloud and region select the same combo in the Snowflake Region dropdown.

5. Choose what data you want to share

6. Select how much historic data you want

Data will be overwritten so include the entire period you want to be visible in Snowflake. If you for example select "Last 6 months" data will not accumulate and you will always have exactly the last 6 months in your Snowflake table.

7. Save and run the Share

Press Save then toggle the Share to enable it.
Then press Run job to run a job right away, bypassing the schedule.

Access the Data Share in your Snowflake account

We manage and pay for the ingestion of the data into snowflake and then create a share to your Snowflake account. We do this to make the setup as simple as possible, all you have to do is to create a database from our Snowflake share once for each Funnel account.

Snowflake Snowsight

Navigate to Private Sharing and find the share with the same Share name as you can see for your Data Share in Funnel, it will include your Funnel Account Name and Account ID.

Click on it to create a new database from the share and name it. Then navigate to the Databases tab and use it like a normal database with the tables that we update in it.

Snowflake Classic Console

Once the export have finished, Login to your Snowflake account and navigate to Shares.

Click on the Secure Share from Funnel in the list and then Create Database from Secure Share

You now have a database with your Funnel data ready to be used in Snowflake. The data will automatically refresh several times a day according to the schedule in your Funnel Share.
