If your use case requires this data in Funnel, you can request it as a custom connector.
Custom connectors and data requests are available only in Business and Enterprise plans.
Step 1: Submit a data request
When submitting your request to Funnel, include the following information:
Data platform origin: For example, is this Shopify Orders data or Internal Enrollment data?
Exact file name: Include the exact file name as it appears in your GCS bucket.
Access to your GCS bucket: Funnel requires read-only access to your storage location. follow one of the options below to grant access.
Step 2: Grant Funnel Access to Your GCS Bucket
You have two options to provide Funnel with access:
Option 1: Allow Funnel’s service account access to your bucket
Log in to your Google Cloud Console.
Navigate to Storage → Cloud Storage → Browser.
Find and select the relevant bucket.
Click “Edit Bucket Permissions.”
Grant access to the following service account:
`funnel-customs-account@funnel-customs.iam.gserviceaccount.com`Assign the Storage Object Viewer role to this account.
Copy the URI of the bucket (for example:
https://console.cloud.google.com/storage/browser/_details/{bucket}/{path}) and include it in your request.
Option 2: Provide a service account for Funnel to assume
If you prefer, you can provide Funnel with a dedicated service account that we can assume to access your bucket.
Ensure the service account has read-only access (Storage Object Viewer role) to the necessary files or buckets.
Share the service account details and any required credentials with Funnel securely as part of your request.
Step 3: Confirmation
Once you’ve submitted your request and provided access (via either option), our team will review and proceed with setting up your custom Google Cloud Storage integration.
