In Funnel, you can connect your Facebook Pages as one of the data sources. Each data source and report type is a connected source.
Guidelines and requirements
Before connecting, ensure you meet the following requirements:
A Facebook page for your business with necessary roles and permissions.
In Facebook, ensure that your user account is listed in the Page access settings with one of the following roles: Admin, Editor, Moderator
If you change your Facebook account password after connecting a data source, you must reconnect the data source in Funnel.
If two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled for your Facebook page, ensure to enable it for your Facebook user account, as well.
Familiarize yourself with the available dimensions and metrics for Facebook Pages, along with any limitations.
Procedure
Follow these steps to connect Facebook Pages as a data source in Funnel:
In Funnel, go to Connect > Data Sources > + Connect Data Source.
Search for Facebook Pages data source, and click Connect Now.
Click + Add Credentials to add your Facebook credentials, or click Generate link if you are requesting credentials from someone else.
Funnel redirects you to Facebook’s sign-in page, where you can authorize access.
(Optional) Manage your cookie preferences in the browser.
Enter your Facebook account credentials and log in.
(Optional) Complete 2FA if applicable.
Confirm if you want to continue with the selected Facebook account.
If you are reconnecting a previously connected, click Reconnect and go to step 12. Reconnecting will retain your previous connection settings.
Choose all the Facebook pages you want Funnel to access, and click Continue.
Note: Ensure you select all the pages Funnel should access for this connection. If a page is not available, follow these troubleshooting steps.
Select the businesses you want Funnel to access, and click Continue.
Review Funnel’s access request, and Save the changes.
Click Got it to confirm your settings.
You will be redirected to Funnel, your Facebook account will be shown as connected.
Select your credentials, and proceed to the Next step.
Select your account, and proceed to the Next step.
Use a Template or Configure manually your data source, and proceed to the Next step.
The report type you select determines the available metrics and dimensions. See this article for details.
Preview the data and fields available for the report.
Click Connect Data Source to finalize the connection.
