Uploading Conversions to TikTok Ads

Activate your Funnel data to optimize your TikTok Ads campaigns' performance

1. Setup in Funnel

  • Authenticate to TikTok in Funnel

  • Choose the TikTok account which your Pixel or Offline Set resides in. Choose the source of the events. (we currently support Website events and Offline events). Next select the Event Source Id.

  • Select which event you want to upload. To determine which events are supported for your selected event source, or to decide whether to use a custom event, check the help article on supported standard events. The same article also outlines the recommended parameters for each event.

  • Select the fields you want to include with your conversion. The more data you provide, the better the match quality. We recommend including the Event ID, as it helps with de-duplication.

2. Test Access

Once you've configured your conversion upload, you'll reach the Preview & Create step in the flow. Here, you can test your setup by sending the data to a test conversion.

How to do it

  1. In TikTok Events Manager, go to Data Sources and open the details for your Pixel or Event Set. Then, navigate to the Test Events tab and copy the test code displayed there (note that your code will differ from the one shown in the screenshot).

  2. Paste the test code into the Preview & Create step in Funnel, then click Upload test. After a short moment, the test conversions you sent should appear under Event Activity in the Test Events section of TikTok Events Manager.

3. Enable the conversion upload

If everything looks good, you can proceed by clicking Create & Enable to start the conversion upload immediately, or choose Create to enable it later.
