Data Mismatches

The data provided by Google Trends is calculated from a random sample of the actual data. The data shown in the Google Trends UI can therefore differ from one day to the next and depending on the location of the person viewing the UI. Read more from Google here.

Discrepancies between Funnel and Google Trends UI

When querying smaller sets of data, for example broken down by region, we can get discrepancies in Funnel when comparing to Google Trends UI.

This is not really a mismatch but rather an effect of the random sampling. Funnel holds data from a query made at one point in time, and Google Trends UI might show different data over time. If so, numbers in Funnel will always differ from the UI.
