Upload TV Data

See how you can upload TV station and airing data using a CSV file.

This article will show you how to format and upload your TV data into Adtriba/Funnel Measurement.

Download this template as the first step to create and upload your data.

File format

The following columns can be included in the file.

  • AIRING_DATETIME (mandatory)

  • CHANNEL_NAME (mandatory)

  • SPOT_LENGTH (optional)

  • PROGRAM_BEFORE (optional)

  • PROGRAM_AFTER (optional)

  • TANDEM_TYPE (optional)

  • GENRE_BEFORE (optional)

  • GENRE_AFTER (optional)

  • MOTIF (optional)

  • TIMESLOT (optional)

  • SPEND (optional)*

  • REACH (optional)

*mandatory if the TV file will also be used for Adtriba Sphere

File type

The TV Data Uploader accepts only CSV files. UTF-8 encoded mandatory.

Column delimiter

Use one of the three delimiters.

  • ,

  • ;

  • TAB (\t)

Column description

AIRING_DATETIME

The timestamp must be defined in the ISO 8601 YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss format - e.g. 2018-01-31 20:34:20

Value required: yes

STATION

Name of the TV station.

Value required: yes

SPOT_LENGTH

Length of the TV spot in seconds.

Value required: no, optional - keep it empty if data is not available

PROGRAM_BEFORE

Which program was shown before the TV spot was aired.

Value required: no, optional - keep it empty if data is not available

PROGRAM_AFTER

Which program was shown after the TV spot was aired.

Value required: no, optional - keep it empty if data is not available

TANDEM_TYPE

Value required: no, optional - keep it empty if data is not available

GENRE_BEFORE

The gerne of the program which was shown before the TV spot was aired.

Value required: no, optional - keep it empty if data is not available

GENRE_AFTER

The gerne of the program which was shown after the TV spot was aired.

Value required: no, optional - keep it empty if data is not available

MOTIF

Variant/motif of the TV spot.

Value required: no, optional - keep it empty if data is not available

TIMESLOT

The timeslot of the TV spot.

Value required: no, optional - keep it empty if data is not available

SPEND

Spend/budget for the TV spot. Use dots between the integer and decimal numbers of your spend values.

Create the file

Ensure to enclose the columns with double quotes if the delimiter is used in one of the columns - e.g. in the PROGRAM_BEFORE column: "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly".
