Use last-click validation to confirm that Adtriba tracking and the customer journey report match your web analytics data.
Complete channel mapping before this validation. Otherwise you compare data with different channel groupings.
How to validate step by step
Go to the Adtriba Performance report and open the Last click validation table at the bottom of the report.
This table shows how Adtriba attributes tracked conversions using an absolute last-click model.
Open Google Analytics and go to Conversions > Multi channel funnel > Model comparison.
Select the Last interaction model.
Note: Select only Transaction as the conversion type for a correct comparison.
Compare attributed conversions per channel in both reports.
The numbers should be close. Both tools should collect similar data and use the same absolute last-click model. The difference should be small.
Why can't I compare conversions with standard Google Analytics reports?
Standard Google Analytics reports use the Last click non-direct model. Direct traffic is ignored when a marketing touchpoint appears earlier in the journey. This model differs from absolute last-click. Use only absolute last click for this comparison.
