Connecting Bluecore Data to Funnel
Bluecore supports exporting data to either an SFTP server or Google Cloud Storage (GCS).
For details on how to set up exports in Bluecore, see:
🔗 Creating an Export Job – Bluecore Help Center
Each Funnel data source connects to one unique file.
If you have multiple files, you’ll need a separate Funnel data source for each one.
🚀 Integration Options
You have three ways to connect Bluecore data to Funnel:
Option 1: Use a Non-Funnel Hosted SFTP
If your organization has access to an external (non-Funnel) SFTP server:
Configure your Bluecore export to send data to your SFTP location.
Submit a request with the following information:
Host
Port
Username
Password
File path(s)
Expected file name(s)
Funnel will then configure the data source(s) to connect to your external SFTP.
Option 2: Use a Funnel-Hosted SFTP
If you prefer Funnel to host the SFTP:
Submit a request with the file(s) you want to import.
Funnel will:
Host the file(s) in a secure SFTP environment.
Configure the corresponding data source(s) in your Funnel account.
Once setup is complete, you’ll be able to generate SFTP credentials for each data source directly in Funnel.
Configure your Bluecore export(s) to send data to these credentials. Each export should correspond to its respective data source.
Option 3: Use Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
If your Bluecore export sends data to GCS:
Submit a request with the following information:
The exact file name as it appears in your GCS bucket.
Access to your GCS bucket by following these steps:
Go to your GCS Console.
Navigate to: Storage → Cloud Storage → Browser.
Select your bucket and click “Edit Bucket Permissions.”
Grant access to Funnel’s service account:
funnel-customs-account@funnel-customs.iam.gserviceaccount.com
with the Storage Object Viewer role.
Provide the URI of the bucket, for example:
https://console.cloud.google.com/storage/browser/_details/{bucket}/{path}
