If your use case requires this data in Funnel, you can request it as a custom connector.
Custom connectors and data requests are available only in Business and Enterprise plans.
Step 1. Identify the Reports You Need
Start by deciding which reports in CharityEngine you want to export.
These reports will determine what data Funnel can pull into your workspace (for example, , donations, campaigns, contacts, and so on).
💡 Tip: Review your reporting needs first—each report will become a separate data source in Funnel.
Step 2. Submit a Request to Funnel
Once you’ve identified your reports, submit a request to Funnel Support and include the following:
The CharityEngine reports you want to connect.
Step 3. Funnel Configures the Data Sources
After receiving your request, Funnel will configure one data source per CharityEngine report.
Each data source corresponds to a report you identified in Step 1.
Step 4. Generate SFTP Credentials in Funnel
When Funnel has set up your data sources, you’ll be able to:
Navigate to the data source details in Funnel.
Generate SFTP credentials (host, username, password, and port).
These credentials are unique to each data source and will be used to send your exports securely from CharityEngine.
Step 5. Schedule and Send Reports from CharityEngine
In CharityEngine:
Go to the Data Jobs section and schedule your export(s).
Use the CharityEngine help guide for detailed instructions.
Configure each report to deliver via SFTP, using the corresponding credentials generated in Funnel.
Make sure each report is directed to the correct Funnel data source credentials.
Step 6. Future Changes or Additions
If you want to:
Add new reports,
Modify existing reports
you’ll need to follow the same process:
Submit a new request to Funnel with the updated report information.
