Customize Funnel AI for your workspace using workspace instructions and saved prompts. Workspace instructions persist across all Funnel AI sessions for everyone in the workspace. Saved prompts are reusable question templates your team can run from the chat input.
Open Customization from Funnel AI full view (Data > Analyze > Funnel AI, then Customization in the header). The panel has two tabs: Workspace instructions and Saved prompts.
Workspace instructions
Workspace instructions are persistent business context that Funnel AI applies to every conversation in the workspace. Use them for rules, KPI definitions, terminology, reporting preferences, and other context you do not want to repeat each session.
After you add or save an instruction, Funnel AI injects it into future conversations automatically, the same way as manually written instructions. Workspace instructions take priority over one-off instructions in a single chat. Each instruction shows who last edited it and when.
Funnel may also add workspace instructions on your behalf during onboarding or other setup flows so Funnel AI is useful from day one.
Save a preference from conversation
When you share a business rule, KPI, or preference in chat, Funnel AI can offer to remember it as a workspace instruction.
In Funnel AI, state your preference in natural language. For example: "I always want to see it only for Facebook and Google."
After Funnel AI applies your request in the current chat, it may ask whether you want to remember the preference for future conversations. Confirm when you are prompted.
When you confirm, Funnel AI shows Saving to workspace context while it writes the instruction.
Funnel AI confirms when the preference is saved. The instruction applies to your next chats and to other users in the workspace unless you change or remove it.
To review or edit what was saved, open Customization > Workspace instructions. Saved instructions appear as cards with a title, body, and last-edited details.
In this example, Funnel AI saved Default platforms: Facebook Ads & Google Ads only with the technical detail needed to filter to facebookads and adwords in future analyses.
Guidelines and requirements for workspace instructions
Assign the editor role to one user who has a holistic perspective of your business context because these instructions are set workspace-wide and apply to all users.
When you create an instruction, identify contexts that apply to all users in your workspace.
You can specify different business contexts as different workspace instructions. For example, create one instruction to define what metrics you want to see as part of performance evaluation, and another to define your organization's terminology.
Avoid creating conflicting instructions.
You can delete or edit an instruction, but you cannot restore an instruction after you delete or its previous version after you edit.
You need access to your Funnel workspace with Funnel AI enabled.
Add a workspace instruction manually
Follow these steps to add a workspace instruction without saving from chat.
Open Funnel AI from the left navigation (Data > Analyze > Funnel AI).
Click Customization in the header, then open the Workspace instructions tab.
Click + Add instruction.
(Optional) Enter a title.
Enter the instruction text, then click Save.
Note: The instruction applies to all users in this workspace.
Edit a workspace instruction
Open Funnel AI, then click Customization > Workspace instructions.
Click the More options menu for the instruction you want to edit, and select Edit.
Make your changes, then click Save.
Note: You cannot restore the previous version of an instruction after you save edits.
Delete a workspace instruction
Open Funnel AI, then click Customization > Workspace instructions.
Click the More options menu for the instruction you want to delete, and select Delete.
Click Delete to confirm.
Note: You cannot restore an instruction after you delete it.
Saved prompts
Saved prompts allow you to create a shared library of prompts for all users in your workspace. You can save effective prompts, especially if they are long or complex, and reuse them to guide other users in your workspace on how to start a meaningful chat. This feature is also useful for prompts that you use frequently.
Add a prompt
Follow these steps to add a prompt.
Open Funnel AI, then click Customization > Saved prompts.
Click + Add prompt.
Enter a title and the prompt text.
Note: The prompt must have at least 20 characters.
Click Save.
Tip: You can also add a prompt from the Saved Prompts conversation starter below the chat input in Funnel AI full view.
Use a saved prompt
You can access a saved prompt in a new chat or in an existing chat.
In a new chat
Open Funnel AI and click + New Chat or New chat.
Click the Saved Prompts conversation starter to view prompts in your workspace.
Select the prompt you want to use. The prompt loads in the chat field.
Press Enter or click the send button.
In an existing chat
In the chat field, type a backslash (
/). A list of saved prompts appears.Select the prompt you want to use.
