You cannot complete the TikTok authentication flow when you add a TikTok Ads data source in Funnel. This usually means the account you sign in with is not a TikTok business account.
Error message or symptoms
There is no single standard error message. Authentication fails or you cannot log in during the connect flow when Funnel redirects you to TikTok.
When does this occur
You try to connect TikTok Ads in Connect > Data sources
You sign in with a personal TikTok account instead of a TikTok business account
Root cause
The TikTok Ads connector requires a TikTok business account. Personal accounts cannot authorize the API access Funnel needs to download advertising data.
Solution
Confirm you have a TikTok business account with access to the ad accounts you want in Funnel.
In Funnel, go to Connect > Data sources and click + Connect Data Source.
Search for TikTok Ads and start the connection again.
Sign in with the business account that owns or has access to your ad accounts.
