How to retain your historical Apple Search Ads bid data in Funnel

How to request historical Apple Search Ads bid data in Funnel so you can track bid amounts over time at the ad group and keyword level.

How to get these dimensions and metrics in your workspace?

What do you need?

Submit a data request. See Request new data in Funnel.

  • Business or Enterprise plan

  • Include the following information in your data request: + Under Where does the data come from? enter Apple Search Ads Bid Data + The list of Apple Search Ads Data Sources bid data is required for + For each Apple Search Ads Data Source, whether bid amount is needed at the Ad Group and/or Keyword Level + Permission to use credentials from the connector for the data request

How does it work?

Because bid amount is considered metadata, we can only obtain information about the current bid amount. Unfortunately, this means we cannot retrieve historical data showing what the bid amount was at a specific time in the past. While knowing the current bid amount is useful, it is also valuable to track changes in your bid amount over time.

Our data request connector is unique because it requests your bid data every day and associates it with that specific day. This process allows you to generate a historical report of your bid amount data for each date since you started using the data request connector. In simpler terms, it is like keeping a diary of your bid amount, showing how it has changed over time.

You can get the bid data at the Ad Group and/or Keyword level. The data request connector also offers the ability to break down the Ad Group and/or Keyword level bid data by Country or Region.
