New features and enhancements

Auto-connect for Facebook Ads (22 August)

Now, you can automatically sync your Facebook ad accounts as data sources in Funnel.

New authentication for Instagram Insights connector (21 August)

You can now authenticate your Instagram Insights accounts directly even if you don't link a Facebook Page to it. However, you can still choose to authenticate using Facebook Pages.

Modeler insights for experiments (12 August)

You can now generate insights for your experiment models in Funnel Measurement. In Funnel Triangulation, go to Modeler > Experiments, and click Insights from the Actions column. You can view these insights as a table and charts.

Click the trial ID value to view the model performance insights page.

Set up convention with AI (Beta) (8 August)

You can now create a naming convention based on your data sources with AI. Read the Create and apply a convention with AI section in the help article to get started with this feature.

Note: This is a beta feature. You can explore a beta feature for a limited period, at no additional cost, and share your feedback. However, the pricing may change when a feature is released for general availability.

Support for managed Meta accounts (7 August)

You can now reconnect your Meta data sources, except for Threads, in Funnel with your managed Meta account. Managed Meta accounts allow you to access Meta's business tools with your work credentials instead of using your personal Facebook account making account management easier and more secure.

Updates on dimensions and metrics

Google Ads: New optional dimension (29 August)

You can now get the Search Visibility optional dimension from the Google Ads connector.

This dimension is available for the following report types:

  • Standard report at all report levels except Asset Group level

  • Search Keyword report at all report levels

  • Video Performance report at all report levels


Facebook Ads: New dimension and metric (25 August)

You can now get the Campaign Result Type dimension and the Campaign Result value metric from the Facebook Ads connector.

Search Ads 360: New segment (25 August)

When you configure the report type for a Search Ads 360 data source, you can now select the Ad Network Type segment to breakdown the performance metrics by network partner type.
You'll find this option under the Additional segments section in the workflow.

Pinterest: New metrics (21 August)

You can now get the following metrics for Campaign, Ad Group, or Pin Promotion level:

  • Total In-App Signups (Click)

  • Total Offline Signups (Click)

  • Total Web Signups (Click)

  • Total In-App Signups (View)

  • Total Offline Signups (View)

  • Total Web Signups (View)

Magento 2: New dimension (14 August)

You can now get the Order Type dimension using the Magento 2 connector.

A backfill is needed for historical data. Read the What data can I get from Magento 2? article to view the complete list of dimensions and metrics you can get from the connector.

Applovin: New metrics (12 August)

You can now get the following metrics from the Applovin connector:

  • Attributed Checkouts (0, 1, 2, 3, and 7 day)

  • Attributed Checkout Revenue (0, 1, 2, 3, and 7 day)

Deprecated features

Funnel no longer supports the Kijiji connector.
