Integration of Google Analytics data in Adtriba Core

Use the integration of google analytics data in adtriba core report and settings in Adtriba.

Note: Adtriba Core is a legacy feature that we continue to support but no longer sell. The latest version of this feature is available as Funnel Measurement.
If you are already using Funnel Measurement, find more information here. To upgrade, contact us.

Adtriba Core supports Google Analytics (GA) data as an alternative to pixel tracking. Adtriba supports Universal Analytics (GA360) and GA4.

Set up

  1. Adtriba provides a service account email in the format XXXXX-reader@YYYYYY.iam.gserviceaccount.com.

  2. Grant the service account BigQuery.Viewer access to the dataset that contains GA data. See Google documentation for instructions.

  3. Provide the following information so Adtriba can fetch the data:

    1. Google Cloud Project ID where the BigQuery dataset is located.

    2. BigQuery dataset name.

    3. BigQuery dataset table name.

    4. BigQuery dataset region.

Integration

During integration, Adtriba also needs answers to these questions:

  1. How do you identify the market and brand? Do you use a custom dimension, domain, or different datasets?

  2. Do you track conversions as ecommerce transaction events in Google Analytics? Are these the only conversions for attribution?

  3. If the previous answer is NO, which goals should Adtriba use as conversions? How are they defined (event names, URL)?

  4. In which custom dimension (name and index) is your user ID available?

  5. Are filters applied to your Google Analytics data? Should the same filters apply to the raw data? If YES, describe the filter pattern for each filter.
