To enable Facebook conversion upload, you must use the Facebook Click ID as a tracking parameter.
Follow the steps below to provide Adtriba with the information needed to push attributed (fractional) conversions back to your Facebook Business Manager.
STEP I - Facebook Click ID
Make sure the Facebook Click ID is transmitted after each ad click.
STEP II - Adtriba UI
In the Adtriba UI, go to Integrations and click Facebook.
You must enter:
a) Access Token
b) Pixel ID
STEP III - Pixel ID and access token
Pixel ID
Provide Adtriba with your Pixel ID to use the Conversions API. If you already set up a Pixel for your website, we recommend that you use the same Pixel ID for the Adtriba Facebook export.
Access Token
To use the Conversions API, you need an access token. There are two ways to get your access token:
Via Events Manager (Recommended)
Via Events Manager (recommended)
To use the Conversions API, generate an access token and pass it as a parameter in each API call. In Events Manager, follow these steps:
Step 1 - Choose the Pixel you want to implement.
Step 2 - Select the Settings tab.
Step 3 - Find the Conversions API section and click the Generate access token link under Set up manually. Follow the instructions in the pop-up.
Note: The Generate access token link is visible only to users with developer privileges for the business. The link is hidden from other users.
After you have your token, click Manage Integrations in the Overview tab in Events Manager. In the pop-up screen, click Manage next to Conversions API. This automatically creates a Conversions API app and Conversions API system user for you. You do not need to go through App Review or request any permissions.
Using your own app
If you already have your own app and your own system user, you can generate your token in Business Manager. To do this:
Step 1 - Go to your business Settings.
Step 2 - Assign a Pixel to your system user. You can also create a new system user at this stage.
Step 3 - Select the assigned system user and click Generate Token.
Your app does not need to go through App Review. You do not need to request any permissions.
STEP IV - Activation
