Why Your Existing Idealo Source Stopped Working
If you had an Idealo source connected before Nov 17, 2025, your source stopped importing new data, 16 Nov 2025, due to a platform upgrade by Idealo.
The reason for this is that the Idealo API v2 is not backward compatible with the old v2 connection. The structural differences in data format and values requires a completely new connection to be established.
Historical data that was successfully downloaded before Nov 16 remains intact.
Actions Required if you have an Idealo source connected before Nov 17, 2025
You must connect a new Idealo source in Funnel.
All new connections automatically use the current Idealo API version v2.
When you connect you will probably see the text below since you already have a source (the source that uses old API version) with similar configuration in you workspace. Please confirm that you want to connect the new source by selecting it in the list.
Changes to the Idealo connector
You vill continue to receive all fields that were previously available. While the values for some fields may have changes compared to old version, the fields themselves remains.
New fields available:
EANs: One or more EAN or GTIN values defined on the related idealo product of the offer (EAN = European Article Number, now replaced by GTIN = Global Trade Item Number).
Cpc: Cost per click charged for the offer.
Limitations to Be Aware of:
The Idealo API imposes certain limits that your new Funnel sources will adhere to:
Historical data: Data is available 15 months back, or to the date of you Idealo accounts creation (which ever date is more recent).
Date latency: Data for the current day is not included. Data for the previous day will become available sometime during the following day.
Initial download speed: There are limits on how frequently the API can be requested per day. This means that the initial historical data download for your new source may take a while to complete.
