MNTN: Dimensions and metrics

Browse the reports, dimensions, and metrics available for the MNTN connector in Funnel.

MNTN (formerly SteelHouse) is a connected TV and performance advertising platform. The connector provides dimensions and metrics in Funnel across four report types. You choose one report type per data source when you configure the connector.

The date dimension in this report is the date of the conversion.

Optional dimensions

In addition to the dimensions included by default in each report type, you can add optional dimensions to your data source when you configure it. These are the dimensions you receive for each option.

City Info

DMA Info

Note: The optional dimensions you select may affect metric totals. When comparing your Funnel data to MNTN, you must use all MNTN dimensions that your Funnel data source imports.

The availability of these dimensions depends on the types of campaigns you are running in your MNTN account. To get Publisher Name, you must be running multi-touch display ad campaigns. To get Network Name, you must be running Connected TV campaigns. If you select these dimensions but your account isn't running the required campaign types, MNTN may return no data at all: it drops not just these columns but every row in the response, so the source imports zero rows.

Note: If your MNTN source suddenly stops returning data, remove Network Info and Publisher Info from the optional dimensions, then re-import (backfill) the affected dates to restore the data. The other optional dimensions (City Info, DMA Info, Marketing Objective Info, State Info) are not affected.

Change history

  • Campaign Group Description is no longer available. It was removed from the MNTN platform.

  • Creative Name is replaced by Creative Size. The creative name only reflected the creative size, so use Creative Size instead.

  • Campaign-level reporting (separate from Campaign Group) is no longer supported in the MNTN reporting API.
