Set up Adtriba Sphere Country Dimension

Set up Adtriba Sphere Country Dimension in your Funnel workspace.

Note: Adtriba Sphere is a legacy feature that we continue to support but no longer sell. The latest version of this feature is available as Funnel Measurement.
If you are already using Funnel Measurement, find more information here. To upgrade, contact us.

Adtriba SPHERE results are always per project. A project in SPHERE is a combination of domain (brand) and country. SPHERE must know which data applies to which country.

You must set up this dimension even if you operate in one country only. In that case, add a general rule for all data and set it to the ISO 2-letter country code.

Option 1

Use Funnel Custom Dimensions to set up a data transformation that maps your advertising data to a country. You should find the Adtriba Sphere Source Dimension in your dimension list. The current definition is a default setup. Customize it for your needs:

  • Click '+New rule' below the rules window. This creates a rule that applies to all connections, not only specific ad platforms.

  • Select 'Set the value of Adtriba Sphere Country to...'

The input variable (currently Data Source) depends on where your country information is available for your platforms. In this case, your data source name should carry the country information - for example Adwords DE or Facebook Austria.

The rule should group all data sources (and their campaigns) by country even when different names are used for the same country.

The output value (grouping value) must be a 2-character ISO country code in the English naming convention - for example DE, UK, IT.

For all other data, choose the first option: 'Adtriba Sphere country will be set to (no value)'

Option 2

If no general input variable applies to all data sources (because country information is not always in the data source name), apply rules for each data source or platform individually. Use the yellow-framed buttons instead of the 'New rule' button below:
