Impact: Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot common Impact issues in Funnel.

Impact connection and download issues

Permission errors or no data after connecting

What you see: The Impact data source shows permission errors or No access, or connects but downloads no data. This often happens after you reconnect with new credentials or a granular (custom) token.

Why it happens: Impact grants token permissions per API category. If the token is missing read access to the data Funnel needs, downloads fail.

What to do:

  1. In Impact, go to Settings > Technical > API.

  2. Use your standard Account SID (it starts with "IR") and Auth Token. If you use a granular token, give it read (GET) access to Reports, Campaigns/Programs, Partners and the Advertiser/Account objects. Selecting all read permissions is the simplest option.

  3. After you change the token in Impact, reconnect the data source in Funnel.

If you use agency (solution provider) credentials, ask Impact Support to enable RestAccountURL for your account.

Downloads are slow for accounts with many campaigns

Impact allows 100 report export requests per day per account, and Funnel makes one request per campaign. For accounts with many campaigns (for example around 30), this daily limit runs out after only a few downloads. Funnel then has to wait until the limit resets at midnight UTC.

As a result, data for these accounts can update slowly, and a full historical import (backfill) can take about a week. Accounts with only a few campaigns aren't affected.
