Missing legacy Sponsored Brands campaigns
Some older Sponsored Brands campaigns appear in the Amazon Ads console but never appear in Funnel, while other campaigns of the same age do.
Why it happens
Amazon moved Sponsored Brands to a newer campaign structure that supports multiple ad groups per campaign. Campaigns that are still on the older (legacy) structure aren't returned by the Amazon Ads API that Funnel uses. Amazon didn't migrate all legacy campaigns automatically, so some accounts still have them.
How to check
If you use the Amazon Ads API, legacy campaigns have the setting isMultiAdGroupsEnabled set to false. You can also compare your Sponsored Brands campaign list in the Amazon Ads console with the campaigns you see in Funnel. Campaigns that are only in the console are likely legacy campaigns.
Solution
Upgrade the affected campaigns to the newer structure through the Amazon Ads API, or recreate (clone) them in the Amazon Ads console. After that, the campaigns start appearing in Funnel.
Limitation
Amazon's API only keeps 60 days of Sponsored Brands report data. After you upgrade or recreate a campaign, Funnel can only fetch the last 60 days for it. Older data for that campaign can't be recovered.
