Funnel gets daily performance data for your hotels from the report files Trivago delivers for your account.
Dimensions
Date YMD: The impression or click date. It can differ from the reporting date, depending on the type of campaign and when the impression or click turned into a booking.
Currency: The currency of Cost and Gross revenue.
Hotel name: The name of the hotel.
Trivago ID: The Trivago ID of the hotel.
Partner reference: Your own ID for the hotel, as you sent it to Trivago.
Trivago URL: A direct link to the property on Trivago.
City: The city of the hotel.
Region: The region of the hotel.
Country: The country of the hotel.
Stars: The star rating of the hotel.
Rating: The rating of the hotel on Trivago.
POS: The point of sale, the Trivago platform where your inventory is shown.
Metrics
Hotel impressions: The number of impressions for a hotel. Trivago records an impression for every hotel on a search results page when a user clicks at least one hotel on that page.
Clicks: The number of clicks, as counted by Trivago.
Cost: The cost of the clicks. Imported from the Trivago "total cost modified" column.
Average CPC: The average cost per click, calculated as Cost divided by Clicks.
Bookings: The number of bookings tracked by the Trivago Tracking Pixel.
Gross revenue: The total booking value tracked by the Trivago Tracking Pixel. Also known as Booking Amount.
Notes
Trivago delivers report files for the previous day only, so the most recent data in Funnel is normally yesterday's. Same-day data isn't available. This one-day delay is expected.
If you see the error Could not find any files for partner_id ... in company folder, Trivago hasn't uploaded the file for that date yet. This isn't a problem with your Funnel setup, and you don't need to do anything. The error usually clears once Trivago delivers the file.
Trivago report files stay available for about 89 days. Funnel can backfill missing days within that window once the files are available.
