Conversion uploads: Overview

Funnel's conversion upload capability: send conversion events from Funnel to ad platforms over server-to-server APIs.

Funnel's conversion upload capability creates server-to-server connections between your Funnel workspace and advertising platforms (for example Facebook Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, and Microsoft Ads). You connect events such as purchases or qualified leads to the ad engagements that drove them, so platforms can optimize bidding and you get more reliable attribution than browser-only tracking alone.

How conversion uploads differ from pixels

Traditional conversion tracking often relies on browser pixels and cookies, which can be blocked or limited. Conversion uploads send conversion data directly from Funnel to each platform's conversion APIs.

Advantages

  • Stronger attribution — send conversions you measure in CRM, warehouse, or other systems back to the ad platforms.

  • Better optimization — give platforms signal they would miss when browser tracking is incomplete.

  • Near real-time — send data as it lands in Funnel (subject to each platform's processing delays).

  • Centralized — configure uploads to several platforms from one workspace.
