July 2026 release notes

This article covers Funnel's release updates for July 2026.

New features and enhancements

Source-level adstock and lag limits in Modeler (31 July)

You can now set source-level minimum and maximum limits for adstock (carryover) and lag in Modeler. Use them to encode how specific channels behave over time. For example, apply a longer carryover window for TV than for TikTok, or set a minimum lag of 2 days for direct mail.

  • The limits work with all model types, including Bayesian models such as ARBOL and parametric models such as FunnelTVP.

  • For parametric models, a histogram of the evaluated adstock and lag values across the experiment is shown in the UI. The histogram isn't shown for Bayesian models.

  • Configure the limits in the edges section of the model graph configuration.

Adobe Analytics 2.0 available on the Business plan (24 July)

You can now use the Adobe Analytics 2.0 connector on the Business plan.

This connector is available on Business and Enterprise plans.

Move to top and Move to bottom for dashboard cards (22 July)

You can now reposition a dashboard card with Move to top and Move to bottom in the card menu. The card moves to the first or last position in the layout without dragging.

This feature is available on all plans.

Scheduled tasks in Funnel AI (21 July)

You can now save a prompt in Funnel AI and run it automatically on a recurring schedule. Each run is a fresh session that uses your workspace data, and the result is saved to a chat you can reopen at any time.

Create a scheduled task in one of three ways:

  • Ask Funnel AI in a chat, for example "Run this analysis every Monday morning".

  • Use the schedule-creator skill.

  • Go to the Scheduled jobs page and create a task there.

You can run tasks hourly, daily, on weekdays, weekly or on a custom schedule, in your chosen time zone. On the Scheduled jobs page, you can create, edit, pause and delete tasks, and view each task's run history.

This feature is available on all plans.

Reference spend on the Media Planner input form (16 July)

You can now see reference spend on the Media Planner input form. Reference spend is shown in total and per source and campaign, so you can compare planned budgets with a reference period on one screen.

Read Create a media plan for the full budgeting workflow.

Date format setting in Advanced Measurement (16 July)

You can now choose your preferred date format on the Settings page of Advanced Measurement. We recommend the YYYY-MM-DD format.

Table view for media plan results in Advanced Measurement (16 July)

You can now show media plan results as a table instead of cards. Select the table icon on the media plan results page to switch views.

Connect Funnel MCP from Funnel AI (14 July)

You can now connect Funnel MCP from Funnel AI > MCP using client cards instead of copying a server URL first.

  • ChatGPT opens the Funnel plugin in the ChatGPT plugin directory so you can sign in with OAuth. See Connect Funnel MCP to ChatGPT.

  • Claude Code and OpenAI Codex show a copy-ready terminal command for your region. For Claude Code setup, see Connect Funnel MCP to Claude Code.

  • Other MCP clients still provide the regional Server URL and OAuth Client ID when a client needs them.

This feature is available on all plans.

All tab in Exports (8 July)

The Export section now opens on a new All tab. It lists every export across all destination types, including conversion uploads, with each export's status, last run time and schedule. You no longer need to open each destination type separately to review your exports.

This feature is available on all plans.

Cost and clicks in the dimension data preview (8 July)

You can now preview Common cost and Common clicks in the data preview for dimensions. Previously, the preview showed row count only.

The default preview period is now Last 7 days instead of Yesterday, so previews better represent your data.

This feature is available on all plans.

Funnel listed in the ChatGPT plugin directory (7 July)

You can now add Funnel MCP from the ChatGPT plugin directory using OAuth sign-in.

Find Funnel in the plugin directory, select Install plugin, and complete the Funnel sign-in flow. See Connect Funnel MCP to ChatGPT.

This feature is available on all plans.

Redesigned sidebar navigation (7 July)

We regrouped the Funnel sidebar so that related tools sit together and the top level stays short. The main changes:

  • Funnel AI (previously Data Chat) becomes a dedicated space near the start of the sidebar.

  • Insights moves from the top level into Report (for workspaces on a measurement plan).

  • Plan items (Budgets & targets, Conventions, Media plans) move into Data under Plan & govern, alongside the new Campaign mapper.

  • Budgets is now Budgets & targets.

  • Activate is now Conversion uploads, a destination type in Export, rather than a top-level item.

  • Workspace Settings now lives under More.

Read Navigating your Funnel interface for a full tour of the updated navigation.

This feature is available on all plans.

Easier-to-read rules on field detail pages (2 July)

Rules on the details page of a dimension or metric now use the same readable layout as edit mode, so you don't need to enter edit mode to read a definition.

  • Hover over a field to see its description, data type and when it was last updated.

  • Rules have more space between them.

  • AND and OR labels are aligned more clearly when several conditions are stacked.

Typing in a rule on a large dimension is also faster now.

This feature is available on all plans.

Spend vs Blended Metrics chart (1 July)

You can now use the Spend vs Blended Metrics chart to plot total spend alongside blended CPA and ROAS over time.

  • See how efficiency changes as spend goes up or down.

  • The chart uses blended figures, not attributed or modeled estimates.

  • Check whether CPA falls or ROAS rises as you optimize your campaigns.

This feature is available on all plans.

Upcoming third-party platform changes

Adobe Analytics: Analytics 1.4 API sunset (31 August)

Adobe is retiring the Analytics 1.4 API on 31 August 2026. After this date, Adobe Analytics 1.4 data sources in Funnel stop receiving new data. Historical data collected before the sunset remains in Funnel.

Adobe Analytics 1.4 and Adobe Analytics 2.0 are separate connectors in Funnel. There is no in-place upgrade, and reconnecting a 1.4 data source doesn't migrate it. To keep receiving data, create new data sources with the Adobe Analytics 2.0 connector before 31 August 2026.

Note:

See Adobe Analytics: Connection guide to set up Adobe Analytics 2.0, and Adobe Analytics 2.0: Dimensions and metrics for the full list of available fields.
