This article covers Funnel's release updates for May 2026.

New features and enhancements

PostgreSQL export destination (20 May)

You can now export Funnel data to a self-managed PostgreSQL database. PostgreSQL is available as a beta destination.

Plan availability: Available on request (beta). Contact your Funnel representative to enable the destination.

Scheduled exports for data sources (20 May)

You can now schedule recurring exports of your data source inventory for data warehouse and storage export destinations.

  • Choose which fields to include from the Data Sources page during setup.

  • Export data sources from the current workspace or from all workspaces in the subscription when the subscription owner enables that option.

Plan availability: All plans. Contact your Funnel representative to enable the feature.

Funnel MCP Server (19 May)

You can now bring your Funnel data into the AI products you already use through the Funnel MCP Server. You can connect it as a custom connector Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini, Perplexity, Lovable and Copilot.

Note: The Funnel MCP Server is awaiting approval and listing in the official Claude and ChatGPT marketplaces.

Funnel Digital Measurement: Proof of Value with Google Analytics 4 Data-Driven Attribution (12 May)

You can now run a Proof of Value analysis for Funnel Digital Measurement using Google Analytics 4 Data-Driven Attribution (GA4 DDA) data. Event-level GA4 data through BigQuery is no longer required.

  • After your marketing mix modeling (MMM) data is mapped and your exports are configured in Data Hub, an MMM model can be available in Data Hub in under 48 hours.

Note: Preparing the data for MMM still involves configuration work and can take a week or two.

OpenAI Ads connector (8 May)

You can now connect to OpenAI Ads and bring campaign, ad group and ad-level insights into Funnel.

Updates on dimensions and metrics

Spotify Ads Manager: New dimensions (19 May)

You can now get the following dimensions and remote attributes for all Spotify Ads Manager data sources:

  • Ad account name

  • Ad account ID

  • Business name

  • Business ID

These dimensions reflect the Spotify account hierarchy: a Business contains Ad accounts.

TikTok: New report, metrics and deprecated dimension (13 May)

You can now use a new Custom Events report that breaks down data by custom event type with proper grain separation. The new report has full dimension parity with the Basic report, including campaign, ad group, and ad metadata, plus Smart+ resolution.

The following metrics are available in the Custom Events report:

  • Custom events (app)

  • Custom event value (app)

  • Cost per custom event (app)

  • Value per custom event (app)

  • Custom events (website)

  • Custom event value (website)

  • Cost per custom event (website)

  • Value per custom event (website)

You can now get the following 8 website value metrics in the Basic report:

  • Add to wishlist value (website)

  • Registration value (website)

  • Search value (website)

  • Payment info value (website)

  • Form submission value (website)

  • Button click value (website)

  • Contact value (website)

  • Download value (website)

The following 2 app value metrics are now available in the Basic report and the Smart+ Creative report (previously available only in Creative Basic):

  • Subscribe value (app)

  • Checkout value (app)

Note: The Custom Event Type optional dimension on the Basic report is now deprecated. Use the new Custom Events report instead.

Facebook Ads: New breakdown (12 May)

You can now select Comscore Market as a breakdown level when you configure a Facebook Ads data source. Comscore Markets is a set of US ZIP-code-based local market definitions used in linear television and digital media.
